Hi, I'm Glen Milligan and I'm the full time skipper and owner of Wight Huntress. I myself have fished the local waters around the Isle of Wight for over 20 years. 10 years ago I began fishing boat competitions and soon achieved success winning many national competitions, including regional championships, English Boat Champion, NFSA Champion and also  the 2003 European Individual Championships. I also fish for England winning two team world silver medals and one team world championship gold medal.

In 2008 I decided on a career change and the search was on for my 1st charter boat. In September after viewing and testing 15 boats I purchased Wight Huntress. She was ideal as my 1st boat. Since then I have spent many hours updating and learning all about her. She has been fully coded and is now moored in Langstone harbour. Wight Huntress is fitted with a single powerful Iveco 400hp diesel engine, she cruises at a genuine 15knotts and has a top speed of 22knotts. She is fully equiped with Modern Raymarine electronics, Fully Licensed and MCA Coded.

Regular customers will now be familiar with my able assistant...REG. Always there helping out with the net, tackle and kettle, you will know that he is also in charge of the galley! Bacon and sausage rolls in the morning are a regular event when Reg is around. What you may not know is that Reg also has many RYA qualifications and is an experienced old salty sea dog!
